APA Science Student Council

The APA Science Student Council (APASSC) was created in 1993 to advise the Science Directorate. APASSC reports to the APA Board of Scientific Affairs (BSA) and works cooperatively with the American Psychological Association of Graduate Students (APAGS). The Council consists of nine graduate students from diverse areas of psychology; each member serves a 2-year term.

Four vacancies will be filled for the 2009/2010 Science Student Council: Biopsychology, Cognitive Science, Developmental Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Research, Psychological Methodology.
