APA Practice Organization
Promotes the professional interests of practicing psychologists in all settings through a wide range of activities, including legislative and legal advocacy on behalf of practitioners and public education campaigns to communicate the value of psychology to the public. The APAPO area includes practice management resources and HIPAA compliance tools.Education Advocacy Trust
Promotes the mutual professional interests of education and training psychologists through fund raising and other political activities. The Trust works with the Association for the Advancement of Psychology (AAP) to support Members of Congress or federal candidates who champion legislative initiatives that increase federal support (funding) for psychology education and training.
