Distinguished Contributions to the Advancement of Disability Issues in Psychology Award

This award seeks to recognize an APA member who has had a significant and enduring impact on advancing the role of psychological principles to enhance the lives of and promote the inclusion of people with disabilities in society.

Description

The Committee on Disability Issues in Psychology (CDIP) of the American Psychological Association presents its Distinguished Contributions to the Advancement of Disability Issues in Psychology Award.

The deadline for receipt of nominations is June 30, 2012.

The award will be presented by members of CDIP at the APA Annual Convention in Orlando, FL. The award recipient will serve as the keynote speaker for the CDIP Conversation Hour, and is invited to present on a topic of his/her choosing.
