Raymond S. Nickerson for Best Paper Award in the Journal of Experimental Psychology: Applied

This award recognizes an article published in a one-year volume of the Journal of Experimental Psychology: Applied as having the potential for enduring impact in the area of applied experimental psychology.

Raymond S. Nickerson was the inaugural editor for the Journal of Experimental Psychology: Applied. Division 21 (Applied Experimental and Engineering Psychology) developed this award in 2009 in his honor. One award will be given for each volume, beginning with Volume 15 (2009).

How to Apply
Four Consulting Editors and/or current members of Division 21 will be asked to nominate papers for consideration. Each person will be assigned one issue of the Journal of Experimental Psychology: Applied volume for that year and asked to rate each paper in that issue and use those ratings as their basis to nominate 1-2 papers from that issue. The nomination process will occur in February of each year.
