This award is made for outstanding research related to any form of media or technology including:

  • Internet.
  • Radio.
  • Television.
  • Print research/applications.
  • Multimedia telecommunications.
  • Virtual reality.
  • Distance learning.
  • Telehealth services.
  • Product development.

The award includes a $200 stipend and one year of free membership in Div. 46.

Eligibility

Applicants must be graduating from a doctoral program and have completed the dissertation between January and December of the two years before the year the award is given.

How to Apply
  • Send a letter of nomination highlighting the nominee's research, publications, teaching, training, leadership and/or other relevant information.
  • Include the nominee's CV and statement about his or her research or accomplishments.
