Description

The Jack Block Award recognizes an individual who has made distinguished contributions in personality psychology. Past honorees have exemplified the goals and value of Division 8 of the APA, Society for Personality and Social Psychology, which are to further the generation and dissemination of research in personality and social psychology. This award however, recognizes work that specifically contributes to personality research.

Recipients of this award are selected by a Society for Personality and Social Psychology nominating committee rather than being solicited.
