Division 8 Graduate Student Travel Award
The Society for Personality and Social Psychology is pleased to provide up to 40 stipends in the amount of $500 to graduate students who wish to attend the SPSP annual meeting. Award decisions will be based on the excellence of the submitted conference abstract and on the strength of the applicant’s scholarly record, as judged by the Student Travel Award Committee.
To be considered for this award, students must:
Be a paid SPSP member (no exceptions). Renew your SPSP membership.
Have a poster or symposium paper accepted by the SPSP program committee for the conference they wish to attend. Do not apply if you have not yet received notification that your submission was accepted.
Be the first or sole author of the accepted conference submission.
Be a graduate student at the time of the convention. Work that was executed while the applicant was in graduate school but would be presented post-graduation is not eligible for consideration.
A new applicant that has not previously won a travel award or diversity award form SPSP.
Please make sure that you meet each and every one of these requirements before submitting an application.
Please address all inquiries to Brian Lowery.
