Continuing Umbrella of Research Experiences (CURE)
The CURE program is a training and career development opportunity available to underrepresented minorities interested in pursuing cancer research careers in basic, clinical, prevention and population control sciences.
The Center to Reduce Cancer Health Disparities' Continuing Umbrella of Research Experiences (CURE) program offers unique training and career development opportunities to enhance diversity in cancer and cancer health disparities research. With a focus on broadening the cadre of underrepresented investigators engaging in cancer research, the CURE program identifies promising candidates from high school through junior investigator levels and provides them with a continuum of competitive funding opportunities.
You are eligible for the programs offered here if you belong to an underrepresented minority. For CMBB purposes, a person is an underrepresented minority if he or she belongs to a particular ethnic and racial group that has been determined by the grantee
