Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholarship - Academic-Year

The purpose of the Ambassadorial Scholarships program is to further international understanding and friendly relations among people of different countries and geographical areas.

Sponsor: The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International

This scholarship provides funding for one academic year (usually 9 months) of study, specifically to cover round-trip transportation, tuition, room and board expenses, and some educational supplies, not to exceed US $26,000 or its equivalent.
Applicants must be a citizen of the country in which there is a Rotary Club; completed at least two years of university course work, or equivalent professional experience prior to beginning scholarship studies, spouses or descendants of Rotarians may not apply; scholarship cannot be used to study in an area of a country where the candidate previously lived for more than six months the scholarships are not appropriate for foreign students seeking funding to continue studies at a given university.
