Congrats to the 1st Annual APAGS-DSRN Outstanding Division Award
The APAGS Division Student Representative Network (DSRN) is pleased to announce the First Annual APAGS-DSRN Outstanding Division Award winner—CONGRATULATIONS TO DIVISION 22-REHABILITATION PSYCHOLOGY!
The APAGS-DSRN Outstanding Division Award (funded by APAGS) is a $1,500 cash award that recognizes a Division of APA for superior performance in continuously promoting graduate student development, involvement, and joint APAGS/APA Division membership. This year’s recipient of the award, Division 22-Rehabilitation Psychology, has consistently provided support and guidance to graduate students in these three domains over the years. For example, Division 22 first showed its commitment to students in 2001 by amending the Division bylaws to include a voting position on the Executive Board for an appointed Student Representative. This position has afforded a number of graduate students with the opportunity to learn and grow from their involvement on the Board to take with them into their professional careers. Division 22 continues to find meaningful and creative ways to promote student involvement and ultimately enhance the professional development of students.
