Brief Description: Recognizes specific scholarly research that has made a significant contribution to the field and a program of research that shows promise of continuing contributions to historical studies
Awardee Receives: Framed certificate

Nomination/Application Process: Nominations sent to Division Past President with two letters of recommendation and a summary of nominee's contributions to the history of psychology

Best Paper Published in History of Psychology
Awardee Receives: Framed Certificate
Eligibility/Nomination Process: All papers published in the preceding volume year are considered by a committee of three persons appointed by the division president
Best Student Paper Presented at the Annual Convention
Awardee receives: $200.00, Honorable mention awards of $100 may be presented (a maximum of two)
Brief description: Best paper presented by an undergraduate or graduate student at the APA convention
Eligibility/Nomination Process: Students must indicate their interest in being considered for the award with their program submission. A written copy of the paper as presented must be submitted at the convention. The program chair in consultation with members of the executive committee who heard all student papers makes the final determination of awards.
