The American Psychological Foundation (APF) announces the 2003 Randy Gerson Memorial Grant to advance the systemic understanding of family and/or couple dynamics and/or multi-generational processes.

From the Education Directorate

The Board of Educational Affairs (BEA) Task Force on Undergraduate Psychology Major Competencies reports on the Undergraduate Psychology Major Learning Goals and Outcomes intended to serve as a resource to undergraduate psychology departments and faculty to assist with academic review processes and curriculum planning.

The new APA Practice Organization portal offers a gateway to a wide array of information, products, and services that can be accessed easily and tailored to an individual practitioner’s professional needs and interests.

From the Public Interest Directorate

The APA is pleased to announce the publication of Developing Adolescents: A Reference for Professionals, a 44-page booklet designed to provide professionals who work with adolescents with basic information about healthy adolescent development.

From the Science Directorate

The APA has partnered with the American Sociological Association, the Association of American Geographers, and the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society to co-sponsor a congressional briefing entitled, “The Human Response to Disaster.”
