APF Todd E. Husted Memorial Dissertation Award

This award recognizes an individual whose dissertation demonstrates the most potential to contribute to the development of improved outreach and delivery of mental health services for those with severe and persistent mental illness.
Amount: one $2,000 award

APF Visionary Fund Grants (Multi-cycle)

These grants support projects and programs that fall within APF’s funding priorities of Exploring and strengthening the connection between mental and physical health to ensure well-being; Understanding and preventing violence to create a safer, more humane world; and Supporting programs that address the long-term psychological needs of individuals and communities in the aftermath of disaster.

Applicants must be educational institutions, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, or affiliated with such organizations.
Amount: up to $5,000

This award is presented to a clinical psychologist, with no more than 10 years experience post doctoral degree, who has made an outstanding contribution to the profession of clinical psychology.

APF Lizette Peterson Homer Memorial Injury Research Grant

Students and professionals throughout the social sciences are invited to apply for this grant, which supports psychosocial research on injuries to children and young adults through accidents, violence, abuse, or suicide.
