From the Education Directorate
CPSE and University of Virginia (UVA) researchers travelled to Chicago from December 11-12, 2008 for their first meeting with the Illinois Math and Science Academy (IMSA) regarding the Study of the Impact of Specialized Public High Schools of Science, Mathematics, and Technology.
From the Public Interest Directorate
The Public Interest Directorate’s Office on Socioeconomic Status is pleased to announce its entry into a five-year $1.75 million cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Division of Cancer Prevention and Control (CDC/DCPC).

The APA Science Directorate is pleased to sponsor four Advanced Training Institutes in the summer of 2009. These intensive training programs are hosted each summer at major research institutions across the country.
