Division 54 wins $1,500 for superior performance in promoting graduate student involvement

Division 54 (Society of Pediatric Psychology) has been named the 2012 APAGS Division of the Year. The award carries a cash prize of $1,500 (funded by APAGS) and recognizes a division of APA for superior performance in promoting graduate student development, involvement, and joint APAGS/APA division membership.

The division has gone out of its way to encourage and welcome students, including having a student representative on its board of directors and having an entire advisory board of students who work to promote student interests in the division.

Christopher Cushing of the University of Kansas accepted on behalf of the division at the annual Division Student Representative Network meeting in Orlando.
