Be a part of the 2015 National Multicultural Conference and Summit

The 2015 NMCS will be held Jan. 15-16, 2015, at the W Hotel in Midtown Atlanta.

The 2015 National Multicultural Conference and Summit (NMCS) will be an exciting and innovative meeting of students, practitioners and scholars in psychology and related fields, to celebrate our diversity and reflect on the intersection of oppression and privilege, to consider our future path and to revel in our accomplishments. In the spirit of Sankofa, we will look back to move forward.

The conference theme is “Psychology Without Borders: Reflecting Within Reaching Out” and will provide a welcoming space to explore the question: Relative to science, service, training and policy, what has the multicultural psychology movement not yet accomplished? In order to explore these issues, the 2015 NMCS call for proposals was released in January 2014. Proposals for symposia, skill-building workshop sessions, roundtable and difficult dialogue discussions, as well as student and professional poster presentations, will be considered for inclusion in the program. Submissions must be received via the proposal submission portal by midnight PST on Wednesday, April 30, 2014. View the call for proposals (PDF, 144KB) for information on themes and submittal instructions.
