Vasquez is elected 2010 president-elect
Melba J. T. Vasquez, PhD, was elected APA’s president for 2011 in the 2010 president-elect election. APA sent the 2010 President-elect election ballot to all eligible APA voters on October 15, 2008. The ballots were counted by Intelliscan, Inc. and the Election Committee certified the election December 1, 2009. The candidates are listed in the order of finish:

Ronald H. Rozensky, PhD - 6,174 votes
Donald N. Bersoff, PhD, JD - 4,288 votes
Robert "Bob" H. Woody, PhD, ScD, JD - 1,972 votes
