Presidential Election Results

APA’s president is directly elected by the entire membership, and chairs both the Council of Representatives and the Board of Directors. During his or her term of office, the president performs such duties as are prescribed in the Bylaws, as are incident to the office, or as may properly be required of the president by vote of council or the Board of Directors.

2014

McDaniel is elected 2015 president-elect

Susan H. McDaniel, PhDSusan H. McDaniel, PhD, was elected APA's president for 2016 in the 2014 president-elect election. The election ballot was sent to all eligible voters on Sept. 15, 2014. The ballots were counted by Intelliscan, Inc. and the Election Committee certified the election Oct. 31, 2014. The candidates are listed in the order of finish:

The 2009 president-elect election ballots were sent to all APA eligible voters on Oct. 15, 2007. Voters had the option to vote by paper ballot or online. Intelliscan, Inc. has counted the ballots, the Election Committee has certified the election and all of the candidates have been notified of the results.
