A small group of senators worked behind closed doors for several weeks to craft a Senate version of the House-passed American Health Care Act, the bill to repeal and replace what is commonly known as Obamacare. APA and the APA Practice Organization, along with many other health organizations, are extremely concerned about many aspects of this bill, especially its threats to radically change and sharply reduce federal funding for Medicaid.

The Senate is expected to vote on this bill before Congress leaves town for the July 4 recess, which is why we need you to act NOW. Please watch this video of Dr. Evans, which explains the serious threats posed by the Senate bill. Then please use these links to send them a message through the APA Federal Action Network or the APA Practice Organization Legislative Action Center asking them to oppose the Senate bill.
