Health Care Reform

APA believes that health care reform provides a critical opportunity to ensure that our nation has the appropriate infrastructure to meet the mental and behavioral health needs of individuals across the lifespan. As part of a coordinated, APA-wide effort, Government Relations Office staff across directorates developed a variety of legislative resources that reflect APA’s policy recommendations for health care reform and have served to advance the association's federal advocacy initiatives.
