Trauma, Violence and Abuse

APA advocacy efforts focus on new and existing federal policies that support research and clinical service initiatives related to trauma, violence and abuse across the lifespan, including such issues as child trauma, violence against women, elder abuse, hate crimes, disaster preparedness and response, and combat/war-related trauma.
