House Subcommittee Votes on Tobacco Legislation at Last
In early March, the House Energy and Commerce Health Subcommittee voted 18-9 to approve HR 1108, a bill to grant the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) authority to regulate tobacco products, including their ingredients and warning label requirements.
