Report on TBI among current and former military personnel

In response to the Traumatic Brain Injury Act of 2008, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the National Institutes of Health, the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs have released their "Report to Congress on traumatic brain injury in the United States: Understanding the public health problem among current and former military personnel." The agencies were tasked with determining "how best to improve the collection and dissemination of information on the incidence and prevalence of TBI among persons who sustained these injuries while in the military and to make recommendations… [for] the development and improvement of TBI diagnostic tools and treatments."
