To better meet the needs of scientists and practitioners we are experimenting with retooling part of the 2009 APA Convention. The CWC partnered with 35 APA Divisions and 6 APA Boards and Committees to create 96 hours of programming that will run from Friday afternoon through Sunday morning. The sessions will be approximately evenly divided between science and practice sessions. The programming is organized thematically into tracks to better address members’ needs. The current tracks include: Business of Practice, Child/Family, Evidence-Based, Health Psychology, Incarceration, Methodology, Neuroscience, and Environment and Consumption. All sessions will be in workshop format, at least one hour in length, and focusing on the latest and best psychological science and practice applications. Members can earn up to 16 hours of CE credit for attending the CWC.
