Individual researchers and practitioners in psychoanalysis have a printed bibliographic reference source designed just for them. Psychoanalytic Abstracts covers the current international literature in the field, including advances in psychoanalytic theory, therapy, and interpretation, as well as the history of psychoanalysis. Each year the March issue contains summaries of book chapters and books, while the other issues feature abstracts of international journal articles. Journal coverage includes both English and non-English-language material. Book coverage includes international English-language publications. The cited journal articles are extracted both from a core collection of over 40 authoritative psychoanalytic journals, as well as from more than 1,500 journals scanned routinely for Psychological Abstracts and the PsycINFO database.
