Psychoanalytic Psychology is the second largest psychoanalytical journal in the United States and the third largest psychoanalytic journal in the English language.
This journal focuses on issues at the intersection of psychoanalysis and psychology. Articles include clinical papers, research papers, literature reviews, and commentary. Clinical papers report new clinical hypotheses, observations, or techniques. Research papers report original research, relevant theoretical problems in psychoanalysis, psychoanalytic approaches to human behavior, and studies in the history of psychoanalysis. Literature reviews collect and analyze the existing literature on problems relevant to psychoanalytic inquiry, and comments respond to previously published articles in the journal.
