Psychology of Men & Masculinity is one of the world's first scholarly journals devoted to the dissemination of research, theory, and clinical scholarship on the psychology of men and masculinity. How men's psychology is influenced and shaped by gender and by the process of masculinization is examined in both its socially constructed and biological forms. Relevant topics include the processes and consequences of male gender socialization, including its impact on men's health, behavior, interpersonal relationships, emotional development, violence, and psychological well-being; assessment and measurement of the masculine gender role; stress and conflict; gender role strain; and masculinity ideology.
