In celebration of APAGS’ 20th anniversary in 2008, APAGS acknowledged four outstanding graduate psychology students who demonstrated exceptional leadership in psychology and are on track to becoming future pioneers in the field. These APAGS members demonstrated excellence in their work as leaders in research, practice, professional service, community service and/or legislative advocacy. Join these exceptional members as they present their work.

Journeys in Leadership and Careers: 20 Years of APAGS Chairs

Please join APAGS for this special 20th Anniversary program that features many of APAGS former Chairs who will discuss how their leadership experiences within and outside of APAGS helped to shape their professional development, identities and careers. Panel members will share insights and advice about how to take advantage of leadership positions to aid in the development of unique career opportunities. There are many traditional, nontraditional and diverse types of careers one can pursue in psychology. This program will illustrate and inspire. Audience members will leave with open minds about the many roles and jobs that are well-suited for psychologists, and especially leader-psychologists.

APAGS 20th Anniversary Invitation Only Gala
Celebrate with APAGS! APAGS invites you to celebrate their 20th Anniversary by attending a special invitation-only gala. Mingle with other APAGS members, supporters, leadership and founders at this festive celebration. The attire is semi-formal/formal. Invitations will be available at the APAGS booth, located in the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.
