Be an APAGS Ambassador at the APA Convention

Want to maximize your networking opportunities while attending APA’s Annual Convention? Sign-up to be an ambassador for the American Psychological Association of Graduate Students (APAGS)!

As an APAGS Ambassador your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Monitoring an APAGS program. As an APAGS program monitor you will be responsible for the distribution and collection of program evaluations. Each ambassador is responsible for monitoring at least one program during convention (a 1-2 hour commitment depending on the length of the program you are assigned).

  2. Providing information to conference attendees, particularly students (i.e. – directions to the APAGS Suite, APAGS booth, and distribution of general information about APAGS, etc.), and;

  3. Distributing APAGS promotional items to students and others who show support of APAGS.
A REQUIRED Ambassador Orientation will take place the evening before convention kicks off. The orientation will provide you with valuable information about the convention and APAGS and is a great opportunity to meet and chat with fellow students attending convention. You MUST attend the orientation in order to be an ambassador for APAGS.

If you would be interested in participating in the APAGS Ambassador program, please complete the Ambassador Application. Send your completed application to:
