Picking a School or University for Pursuing a Degree in Psychology

When trying to choose a graduate program, you might want to check out APA publication called Graduate Study in Psychology. It contains a great amount of information about programs at the master's degree and doctoral levels, including admission requirements and deadlines, information on applications, financial aid, tuition, and housing, and information on faculty and current students. You can order a copy of this publication by calling 1-800-374-2721 or by visiting the APA Books website.

Looking for information on distance learning programs? You may want to take a look at the report from the APA Task Force on Distance Education in Professional Psychology, available online at http://www.apa.org/ed/distance_ed.html for review and comments.

If you've written something of high quality that relates to the topic on this page, you can submit your work to be considered for publication on the APAGS Web site.

Please send your article in Microsoft Word or text format to me (Carol Williams-Nickelson, Associate Executive Director, APAGS).

I look forward to reviewing and considering your contribution!
