These stats were compiled by the National
Science Foundation and APA. They present some VERY alarming facts about
debt loads of PhDs and PsyDs. Because APAGS is concerned about the future of psychology graduate students, we organized and participated in a rally on August 4th, 2000 on the steps of the US Capitol in support of increased federal funding of psychology education.
