APAGS Networks Socially with Students

With the latest addition of a Twitter site to its veritable list of popular two-way networking platforms, APAGS is making connections with graduate students and getting its message to the masses. To date, APAGS has official social networking sites on Facebook, Twitter, and Linkedin.

Below are the various social networking platforms upon which APAGS has launched its communications campaign:

1. Establish a Facebook profile from the Facebook homepage.
2. Once logged in with your profile set, access the APAGS Group site.
3. Click the "Join this group" hyperlink.
4. It's that simple!

APAGS has also established a Facebook Fan page. On it, fans get the latest updates on APAGS activities, APA-wide info pertinent to graduate students, and much more. To Become a Fan of APAGS on Facebook:

1. Establish a Facebook profile from the Facebook homepage
2. Once logged in with your profile set, access the APAGS Fan page site.
3. Click the "Become a fan" hyperlink and you're set.

APAGS has a lot to tweet about. That is why we would like you to stay abreast of what's happening with and for psychology graduate students by following APAGS on Twitter. To follow us on Twitter:

1. Create an account on Twitter.
2. Once logged in with your Twitter account, access the APAGradStudents Twitter site.
3. Click the option to "Follow" APAGradStudents.

To join the APAGS Linkedin group you must be approved by the group's manager. To start making connections today:

1. Set up your free Linkedin account through the Linkedin site.
2. Once signed into your new account, do a group search (i.e., in the search box) for the "American Psychological Association of Graduate Students" group's site.
3. Upon finding the group (under the results) section, click on the "Join this Group" option.
4. The APAGS group manager will subsequently approve your membership.
