Dr. Beth Rom-Rymer recently made a $25,000 gift to support APF’s Visionary grantmaking priority of Violence Prevention and Intervention.
Dr. Rom-Rymer’s gift will: Encourage the transfer of psychological science with regard to violence, its prevention, and intervention strategies to applications within the community. Support the implementation of innovative community programs aimed at preventing violence Dr. Rom-Rymer is a forensic and clinical psychologist and President of Rom-Rymer and Associates, a private consulting and clinical practice located in Chicago. In 2007, she received the National Award in Leadership from the American Society for the Advancement of Pharmacotherapy (APA Division 55).
