Rom-Rymer makes $25,000 Gift

Dr. Beth Rom-Rymer recently made a $25,000 gift to support APF’s Visionary grantmaking priority of Violence Prevention and Intervention. Dr. Rom-Rymer’s gift will:

• Encourage the transfer of psychological science with regard to violence, its prevention, and intervention strategies to applications within the community; and

• Support the implementation of innovative community programs aimed at preventing violence Dr. Rom-Rymer is a forensic and clinical psychologist and President of Rom-Rymer and Associates, a private consulting and clinical practice located in Chicago. In 2007, she received the National Award in Leadership from the American Society for the Advancement of Pharmacotherapy (APA Division 55).
