Awards for Distinguished Contributions to the International Advancement of Psychology

The Committee on International Relations in Psychology confers the Award for Distinguished Contributions to the International Advancement of Psychology to an individual who has made sustained and enduring contributions to international cooperation and the advancement of knowledge in psychology.

In accordance with established custom, the award winner has agreed to present an address on some phase of his contributions to research in the international psychological field at the 1998 convention. Award addresses delivered in 1998 will be published in the April 1999 American Psychologist.
