Programming

The 2014 APA Annual Convention will host hundreds of sessions on the full range of psychology topics, including over 200 sessions offering continuing education (CE) credit. Programs and sessions will cover issues such as health disparities, use of technology, violence, integrated health care, and clinical practice. Programming listings will be posted as they become available.

Presidential Programming

APA President Nadine J. Kaslow, PhD, has developed sessions addressing the 2014 presidential theme — Uniting Psychology for the Future — and her three main initiatives during the year: 

  • Opening Doors: Facilitating Transitions From Doctoral Education to First Job
  • Translating Psychological Science for the Public
  • Patient-Centered Medical Homes: How Psychologists Enhance Outcomes and Reduce Costs 

The 2014 APA Annual Convention will also feature Special Presidential Continuing Education Workshops as part of Kaslow’s Presidential Initiatives on Health Care.
