Presidential Programming

APA President Nadine J. Kaslow, PhD, has developed sessions that relate to her presidential theme of Uniting Psychology for the Future and her three main initiatives during the year: 1) Opening Doors: Facilitating Transitions From Doctoral Education to First Job, 2) Translating Psychological Science for the Public, and 3) Patient-Centered Medical Homes: How Psychologists Enhance Outcomes and Reduce Costs.

Presidential program symposia are scheduled on Friday, Aug. 8, between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. and on Saturday, Aug. 9, between 2:00 and 6:00 p.m. in the Convention Center. Times and days are subject to change.

All Continuing Education (CE) workshops are sponsored by the APA Continuing Education Committee (CEC). They have been reviewed and approved by the APA CEC to offer CE credits for psychologists. The APA CEC maintains responsibility for the content of the programs.
