Activities

One of the oldest towns in the United States, Boston has retained its old-world charm while thriving as a center for modern technology, academic excellence, finance, and the arts. Founded in 1630, Boston is brimming with historic sites from colonial and revolutionary days.

From Paul Revere's house to the Boston Tea Party ship to the Old North Church, history is on every corner in Boston. The Freedom Trail, a walking tour through historic Boston, encompasses 16 of the most cherished sites in American history. Explore Faneuil Hall Marketplace, a lively complex of shops and restaurants in three restored buildings from the 1800s. Wander through diverse neighborhoods such as Chinatown, Dorchester, Roxbury, and the South End.

Visit the Museum of Fine Arts, the New England Aquarium, the Children's Museum, and the legendary picturesque campuses of Harvard University and MIT. Enjoy the entertainment and sports of Boston with a night at the theater or at the “Green Monster” Fenway Park. Satisfy your palate in one of Boston's culinary treasures. Bring your family for a fun learning experience!

Note: The temperature in August in Boston hovers around 80°F. Business casual is acceptable dress during the convention.
