…Advertise!
Increase your return on investment with convention targeted print and online advertising. Advertise in the APA Convention Program, on the APA Convention Web site, and in the Monitor on Psychology special convention issue (July/August). Advertise in all three to receive discounts. …Attach your brand to an event as a Sponsor!
Increase your marketplace visibility through convention sponsorship. There are many on-site opportunities that you can sponsor exclusively or as a co-sponsor all designed to fit any budget (or allow us to work with you on a custom sponsorship). See the Advertising & Promotion "sponsorships" page.

…Place a flyer in the Attendee Registration Packet
First-Come, First-Served—available to the first 10 exhibitors who submit their request. A limited amount of space is available in the Convention Registration Packets for exhibitors to include promotional flyers. Space is limited to product or service promotion and cannot be used to promote sessions that are part of the formal Convention Program. At $.25 apiece (for 10,000 flyers) this is an excellent way to draw attendees to your booth. Each participating exhibitor is limited to a one page (8-1⁄2” x 11”), two-sided flyer. To reserve your space, e-mail your request by June 2, 2009 to: Jodi Ashcraft or Mona Alcazar. Materials should be boxed, packaged on a skid, and delivered no later than July 1, 2009 to: APA Convention Registration Packets, c/o Brede National Exposition Services, ATTN: Johnny Bryant, 6801 Mid Cities Avenue, Beltsville, MD 20705, (301) 937-8600.

…Conduct a Raffle
Tell us the product you will be raffling by April 1, 2009, and we will list your company name, your booth number, the product to be raffled, and the time and day the winner will be announced, in the Convention Program (free!). APA will designate the time and day you should select your winner. Raffle winners (along with your company name and booth number) will be announced during the convention over the exhibit hall loudspeaker.

…Direct Mail
Direct mail to pre-registrants prior to the APA Convention and to the full attendee list just after the meeting! Contact Experient (Frederick, MD office), (800) 787-0475 or (301) 662-9400 for prices and available lists, or go online at www.experient-inc.com. Pre-registrant and full attendee mailing lists are available to full booth exhibitors only (and are not available to Free-Take-One brochure booth participants or non-exhibitors).

…APA Mailing List Rental
Mail to pre-registrants prior to the convention through Experient. Reach the remainder of the market through APA. As an exhibitor, you can choose from a host of lists including the APA membership, student or international affiliates, specific APA divisions, journal subscribers, or a combination of lists. These are valuable, qualified prospects that you can target direct messages to by select specialty, geographic region, and more! To ensure this is part of your marketing program go to www.apa.org/other for additional information.

…Use the Expocard Sales Lead Retrieval System

…Participate in Coffee with the Authors
Schedule your author signings for Saturday, August 8, 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Send us your list of authors and titles (or products) and we’ll use the information in publicizing the event. Book signing information must be sent by May 18, 2009. E-mail the information to Jodi Ashcraft or Mona Alcazar.

…Provide us your Web address and be listed in an exhibitor list on the APA Web site
When filling out your exhibit contract, be sure to include your Web address. Your company name, booth number, mailing address, and Web address (with link to your home page) will appear on the APA Convention Web site beginning in May with periodic updates leading up to the convention.

...Tell us what’s new with you in 2009
With the new interactive exhibit floor plan software, you may now provide information about your company profile, new product launches, book releases, and services to be debuted at the 2009 APA Convention, as well as product category information to be added in the searchable product locator. Attendees will now be able to access your company information online 24/7 leading up to the APA Convention.
