In an average year interns conduct approximately 800 evaluations, total for a year, in the ER, on med-surg floors, and off-site at schools. So each intern (we have an intern class of 8 each year) might conduct
approximately 100 evaluations over the course of the year. Each written evaluation is reviewed and feedback provided. Supervision by psychiatrist occurs in real-time with every evaluation. As-needed psychologist supervision is also available and provided.
