George
Everly, Ph.D., the Executive Editor of the new journal, INTERNATIONAL
JOURNAL OF EMERGENCY MENTAL HEALTH, has offered to give members of
our Section a reduced rate on the journal. It typically costs $69
for a one year individual subscription, but Section members can obtain
it for $40 a year (a 40% reduction). This is a quarterly journal that
should be of great interest to members of the Section. Its purpose
is to provide a peer-reviewed forum for researchers, scholars, clinicians,
and administrators to report, disseminate, and discuss information
relevant to the field of emergency mental health. It is multidisciplinary
in nature and publishes manuscripts in trauma, disaster, PTSD, crisis
intervention, emergency services, suicidal behavior, violence, victimization,
terrorism, etc. Dr. Everly also invites members of the Section to
submit manuscripts for possible publication. You can obtain a subscription
by sending the following form. Please enter my subscription to the
quarterly INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF EMERGENCY MENTAL HEALTH (ISSN 1522-4821).
As a member of the Section on Clinical Emergencies and Crises (Section
VII) of Division 12 of the American Psychological Association, I understand
that I am eligible to have a 1 year subscription at the reduced individual
rate of $40 (rather than $69).
