Crisis Intervention: A Handbook of Immediate Person-to-Person Help
(4th edition, 2002) by Kenneth France has been published by Charles
C Thomas Publisher, LTD (Springfield, IL).
Reviewers of previous editions have said it "reads like a novel"
and is "an excellent book with a wealth of information."
It is one of five basic texts recommended for crisis workers by the
Individual Certification Committee of the American Association of
Suicidology. For over 30 years Kenneth France has provided crisis
intervention services and training in a variety of settings.
