Call for Editor Nominations and Applications
Consulting Psychology Journal
The Society for Consulting Psychology, Division 13 of the American Psychological Association, is seeking nominations and applications for Editor of its quarterly journal, Consulting Psychology Journal-Practice and Research. The Editor will work with the journal's associate editors and with APA to produce the journal. This includes coordinating the manuscript review process; communicating with authors, editorial review board members, and APA staff; and monitoring the journal's production process.
The incoming editor will be "Editor-elect" starting January 2007 and will be responsible for coordinating review of manuscripts submitted that year. He/she will become "Editor" and assume full responsibility for the journal beginning January 2008 through 2011.
Application materials should include a vita, three references, and cover letter describing their vision for the Consulting Psychology Journal, a plan to achieve the desired vision, and description of relevant academic and editorial experience.
We welcome applications and nominations of Division 13 members as well as members of other APA divisions. Division 13 encourages participation by members of underrepresented groups in the publication process and would particularly welcome such applicants and nominees.
Please e-mail nominations and applications to
Dr. Arthur Freedman, search committee
chair. The application deadline is May 31, 2006.
