NEP/15 is the official newsletter of Division 15--Educational Psychology--and is published in November, March, and July of each year.  It is mailed from the US Post Office in Washington, DC 20002-4242.    Mailing addresses are those used on the official APA roster.  Corrections and changes of address should be sent directly to the APA Directory Office, 750 First St., NE, Washington, DC 20002-4242.

NEP/15 will publish minutes of official business meetings, committee reports, news items, and information on topics and issues of interest to the Division 15 membership.  Items and articles for NEP/15 should be addressed to Anastasia Morrone, School of Education, Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis, Indianapolis, IN 46202 or e-mail to amorrone@iupui.edu.

Editor's Note:

As I write this in November, it is unseasonably warm here in Indiana, which brings back memories of summer.  One of the most important memories from this past summer was the APA Convention that was held in Boston, Massachusetts, August 20-24.  This issue of NEP/15 begins with a message from our new Division 15 President, Howard Everson.  You will also find the minutes from the Executive Committee Meeting and the Business Meeting that were held at the convention. Reflections from Jessica Summers and Heather Davis on the second annual Division 15 Graduate Student Seminar also appear in this issue of the newsletter.

In addition, there are several calls for applications and nominations in this issue.  There is also a summary of the American Psychological Association of Graduate Students' African American Students in Psychology first annual conference, written by Jessica T. DeCuir.

Finally, I thank my editorial assistants, Ms. Darolyn Jones and Mr. Mike Fassold, for their assistance in putting this issue of NEP/15 together.  Mike is a new assistant who brings with him a great deal of technical expertise.  Both Darolyn and Mike are middle school teachers in the Indianapolis area who donate their time to assist me with NEP/15.  I am truly grateful for all of their hard work.

Don't forget that NEP/15 is also available on the APA web site (
http://www.apa.org/divisions/div15).

Happy Holidays!
(And don't worry--NEP/15 is Y2K compliant!)
