Welcome to the website of the Criminal Justice Section of Division 18 of the American Psychological Association.  Members of this section work primarily with incarcerated people and administrators who operate state or federal correctional facilities and detention centers.  They provide professional support to one another through an exchange of information concerning the administration, assessment, treatment, ethical and training issues that are involved in this challenging line of work.

Individuals interested in this challenging and rewarding area, as well as psychologists currently employed in criminal justice settings, will find useful and interesting information by clicking on the links to the left.
