Careers that Count

There are over 1200 psychologists working in the VA, many of whom are highly regarded at their medical centers, in their communities, within their particular professional sphere and within the profession.

Ask any VA psychologist about their peers within the VA and they will be able to fill the conversation with anecdotes concerning the many warm, dedicated and talented professionals with whom they have had the good fortune to work.

Some of the psychologists whose career experiences are highlighted here have had long-term careers in the VA, while others have been with the VA briefly.  Some have received wide public recognition for their work; some have not.  In any case, there should be no doubt that these psychologists are all engaged in careers that count.
