Applied Experimental and Engineering Psychologists
are affiliated with Division 21 of the American Psychological Association
(APA). Active participation is encouraged in the Division's scientific,
technical, committee, business, and social activities. A few important
Division programs and benefits of membership are identified below.
Scientific and Technical Meeting
Technical presentations, workshops, symposia, a student
session, poster sessions, and a business meeting and social are
part of the Division's activities during the annual APA meeting
usually held in August. Division 21 also conducts a one day technical
symposium in association with the mid-year Executive Council
meeting in March.
Committee and Activities
Members are encouraged to be active in Division Committees:
Program, Membership, Awards, Nomination, and Newsletter. Members
interested in committee participation may send their request
by mail, email, or fax to the Division 21 Secretary-Treasurer
at the address shown below.
Awards
- The Franklin V. Taylor Award for outstanding contribution to
the field of Applied Experimental and Engineering Psychology
- The Earl A. Alluisi Award for early career achievement (fewer
than 10 years in the field)
- The George E. Briggs Dissertation Award
