New APA Fellows from Division 3 Emanuel Donchin & Lewis P. Lipsitt, Division 3 Representatives to the APA Council
At the recent APA meetings in Honolulu, Council endorsed recommendations of the Div 3 Fellows Committee, and announced appointment of the following initial New Fellows. These individuals have become Fellows for the first time, beginning in 2005, with their new status initiated by Division 3.
Division 3, through this action of our Fellows Committee and endorsed by Council, has gained more new Initial Fellows than all other Divisions, this for the second year in a row. Over the past 10 years, we have proposed 70 new Initial Fellows, and 100% of our proposed Fellows were elected. Only two other Divisions proposed as many Initial Fellows, or more, than Division 3 in this 10-year period: Div 7, Developmental(77) and Div 12, Clinical(74).
