Carolyn Wood Sherif Award

Beverly Greene, PhD, Chair

The Carolyn Wood Sherif Award Committee of the Society for the Psychology of Women invites nominations for the annual Carolyn Wood Sherif Award. This award is based on contributions to the field of the psychology of women as a scholar, teacher, mentor, and leader. Thus, selection requires evidence of excellence in teaching and mentoring, research and scholarship, and professional leadership in the area of the psychology of women. The recipient of the next award will receive a cash prize and will be invited to deliver the Sherif Memorial Lecture at the following APA convention. The winner also chairs the subsequent year's award committee.
