     The Psychological Issues Section of the Pro-Choice Forum provides a source of empirically based knowledge and informed opinion about the psychological aspects of abortion and related reproductive health issues from a feminist perspective. Association for Women in Psychology (Click name to go to site.)
     AWP is a sister organization that was founded in 1969 at the American Psychological Association's annual convention. Members of that early group picketed the Board meeting at APA to protest the lack of a division about the psychology of women. As a result of their efforts, Division 35 was created. Today, AWP and Division 35 work together to sponsor events, operate a listserv, and provide a suite for member activities at the APA convention, among other efforts.

National Women's Studies Association (Click to go to site.)
     NWSA supports and promotes feminist/womanist teaching, learning, research, and professional and community service at the pre-K through post-secondary levels and serves as a locus of information about the inter-disciplinary field of Women's Studies for those outside the profession. NWSA sponsors a listserv (wmst-l) and publishes a newsletter, NWSAction, among other documents.

     SPSSI welcomes psychologists and allied social scientists who share a common concern with research on psychological aspects of important social issues and social subjects to bring theory and practice into focus on human problems of the group, the community, and the nation, and the increasingly important problems that have no national boundaries. The quarterly Journal of Social Issues and the SPSSI Newsletter, published three times a year, are SPSSI's official publications.

Division 17: Counseling Psychology (Click name to go to site)
     Counseling Psychology brings together psychologists, students, and professional affiliates who are dedicated to promoting education and training, scientific investigation, practice, and diversity and public interest in professional psychology. The Division contains sections representing Counseling Health Psychology; Independent Practice; Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual Awareness; Racial and Ethnic Diversity; Vocational Psychology; Advancement of Women; and Prevention. Other Special Interest Groups also exist.

     The Society for the Psychological Study of Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual Issues was founded in 1985 as a Division of the American Psychological Association to represent sexual orientation issues within and beyond the Association.

APA Division 45: The Society for the Psychology Study of Ethnic Minority Issues (Click name to go to site)
     The Society for the Psychology Study of Ethnic Minority Issues is the major representative body for psychologists who conduct research on ethnic minority concerns or who apply psychological knowledge and techniques to ethnic minority issues. The Division's purpose is to advance psychology as a science and to promote public welfare through research, to apply research findings towards addressing ethnic minority issues, and to encourage professional relationships among psychologists with these interests.

APA Division 51: The Society for the Psychological Study of Men and Masculinity (Click name to go to site)
     The Society for the Psychological Study of Men and Masculinity advances knowledge in the psychology of men through research, education, training, public policy, and improved clinical practice.

APA Division 52: International Psychology (Click name to go to site)
     Division 52, International Psychology encourages its members' participation in intercultural research, discussions of effective assessment and treatment models in working with particular cultures, and a better understanding of the sort of psychological problems which predominate in a given region of the world. The Division encourages participation in international conferences and supports efforts to facilitate international visits, workshops, and lectures. The International Psychology Reporter is the Division's newsletter which is sent to all members and affiliates three times per year.
